- Click on 'Tools'
- Next, click on 'Options', as you see in the picture below.
3. Click on the ‘Maintenance’ tab.
4. If there are any checks next to 'Delete read message bodies in newsgroups' and/or
where it says 'Delete news messages X days after being downloaded' UNCHECK BOTH.
5. As you see in the picture below, nothing is checked off EXCEPT for ‘Troubleshooting’
that can be seen on the bottom of the screen shot.
6. When you are finished, click on ‘OK’
7. If your settings WERE incorrect,
you will need to do the "Reset" procedure
outlined in "Why are my Posts missing" FAQ article to get back
the posts that had disappeared.
